Good Diet plan and exercise are most important components of the diabetes management. You can use enclosed diet charts for reference. Treatment compliance is key to defeat the diabetes ,be regular in taking medicines and follow up .

Hypoglycemia

When blood sugar are abnormally low , one have sweating , increase hunger , weakness , mental lightness & confusion . These are signs of hypo glycemia and need urgent attention . Immediately take sugar or glucose and report to your physician.

Health Targets

1. BMI should be less than 25.
2. BP – less than 140/90 mm of Hg
3. Blood sugar – less than 126 mg/dL
4. Total cholesterol – Less than 130 mg/dL
    HDL – More than 40 mg/dL
    NonHDL – Less than 130 mg/dL
5. Sleep – continue 6 to 8 hrs.
6. Exercise – 1/2an hour brisk walk at least 5 days/week.
7. Fasting blood sugar – less than 126.
8. HbA1C – less than 6.5%.
